Information and Referral Practice Vignettes Policy Review and Test (must be passed before signing up for Supervised Experience hours)....................................Friday, January 16 Supervised Experience with Mentor (4 hours).........Friday, February 20 Supervised Experience with Hotline Director (2 hrs).......Friday, May 7 Volunteers gain Full Active Status upon successful completion of a minimum of 4 hours of Supervised Experience with a Mentor, after which the trainee is evaluated as ready to function independently as a counselor. All trainees will also work two hours under the supervision of the Hotline Director, but do not need to complete this in order to work independently.
